Eflite Cessna “300” twin 150 cessna
Basic work done
I had a stupid idea of putting two Cessna 150s together, just like the F 82 twin Mustang. So far is looking good, but I’m skeptical about how strong that center spar will be. Probably going to look into a better option in the future.

Very cool!

Masking, paint color and design.
I have decided to do a repaint of the efl Cessna. I’m using a few different colors, the original red will stay the same way it has, but everything white( for the most part) Will be painted a dark sparkly gray. I’m masking off ALL red paint.
I’m using yellow LOW TAC frog tape because the normal blue ...

I need some help, my yellow frog masking tape is pulling the paint up. Does anyone know how to get it up without that happening?

I've seen people use Post-It notes for masking, they pull up without taking any paint, and leave a clean line.

You can make what they call a frisket with tracing paper and rubber cement also.

Lay the thin paper on a safe surface, coat one side evenly with rubber cement. When it dries, you can stick it down and cut any shape. Airbrush 101.

The only issue I've found is if you use too much it can cause the foam to melt, so I always recommend testing on scrap first, but in small ...

I agree with hot glue, foam safe CA is also a fantastic option. The hot glue really stands out because you can easily fix an oopsie by gently pulling the bond apart, CA not so much. Hot glue however can sometimes add unwanted bulk/space/volume.
CA stands out when I want a very fine, thin repair that...

One other repair tip I picked up on other forums is the use of lightweight spackle and clear packing tape. The spackle can be sculpted into almost any form to fill gaps, sanded and painted. The clear packing tape adds structural rigidity and can also be painted.
The best application I have used the ...

6 wheels?!!??
Well it all started out with a picture of a Cessna 170 I think and I decided to make it in rc scale with a 150. I did that and no regrets!!! A great flying model, the cG is spot on too.
