Start with the box and improve
Dropping some coin today for a Air Tractor 1.5. Pretty easy to put together, actually took me longer to get it bound to my DX18. Ended up just putting the bind plug directly into the rcvr. Hope to fly it next weekend. Trying to decide if I want to repaint as Dusty Crophopper.

A Dusty Crophopper repaint would be awesome. I'm working on one for my son right now, but it's a Flite Test Duster, wanted to start out with something cheaper.

If you would like a little hint/help about painting the Air Tractor: use some rubbing alcohol on the original paint, let it dry then use a fine steel wool. Use a damp cloth to remove the fine dust after the steel wool then repeat the rubbing alcohol. This provided a really nice base to prime and pai...
