I started getting back into flying model planes last year when my wife bought a
Horizon Hobby Carbon Cub S2 for me.
I turned 80 last January.
I flew U-Control when I was a kid. Does anyone remember the Sterling Ringmaster?
I have a VERY strong interest in WW1 aerial combat.
Back in the 1970's I had the good fortune to meet a WW1 ace.
Capt. Ralph O'Neill flew a Nieuport 28 in combat.
He and Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker, (above picture), our WW1 ace of aces, were NOT friends!
